Software Tutorial: Buttons

The image above shows the toolbar with different functions in the software.

The drop menu to the extreme left of the toolbar allows you to select the background music for the final dance simulation.

The Reset button resets the values in the current frame to 0.

The Insert button inserts an additional frame after the current frame that you are working in.

The Delete button will erase the frame that the Frame-pointer is at.

The Play button will play your animation at the chosen speed. The animation keeps on playing till you press Pause or Stop.

The Pause and Stop buttons will pause and stop the animations respectively.

The Copy button copies all the angular and translational settings of the existing frame.

The Paste function will paste the copied values from some frame to the currently selected frame.

The Apply Wave function will pull up a pop-up menu so that you can input the model the movement of different joints as a sine function.

The Load Demo function will load a demo file to illustrate a virtual dance simulation. We strongly encourage all users to look at the demo before starting to work on their own animations.
