Design for Kitwe community clinic in Zambia. Created by Alex Nyangula, a student of African American architect David Hughes. The hexagons are a compromise between the traditional African round house and the modern rectangular house. Nyangula's project also allows expandability similar to growth patterns in traditional villages. By editing the shape you can experiment with the rate at which hexagons scale down with each iteration. Note that on the 5th iteration this model has "self-intersection."
